bannerSo, why Writing Room 101? Would it surprise you to know there are a multitude of reasons? The most important being the desire to create a place where readers and writers can spend time and explore the areas that interest them.

The aim of the site is one of collaboration, of familiarity, community, and a safe place to stretch our creative wings – to grow and learn from each other.

All writers like to experiment and, as readers, we enjoy to be taken on unique and interesting journeys. Whether creating the world, or enjoying the one someone else concocted, there’s nothing quite like the connection between people – real or imaginary. I particularly enjoy the various interpretations gained from a few simple words. It’s all about meaning, and how we look at the world differently. But it’s also about what brings us together and a good story can do that.

Within the site you’ll find both a Reading and a Writing Room. These are designed specifically and will be developed with help from all who spend time here.

The writing room is an ideal place for writers who are looking to share their work, create new and exciting characters and take part in a number of prompts.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope to see you again soon.

  1. Hey, Mel 🙂 I’ve put Writing Room 101 up for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. It’s such a great resource for writers and readers and it deserves the recognition. There’s no obligation to take part, I know you’ve already done one on your own blog, but I wanted to give you a nod of thanks 🙂

    1. Thank you, my friend – I appreciate the ‘nod’ 🙂 I’m glad you enjoy the site and I hope it continues to grow. It’s enough to know that people are inspired by the blog so I will treasure the fact you nominated me. Take care.

      1. He knows many ways of being useful -and so would I. Shhh,,,don’t tell my Accomplice in Mischief – he thought he only needed to worry about the ones with the pointy ears! =D
